Take part in the first of the 2023 workshop series.
Artists, writers and scientists welcome you to a choice of three themes: air and animals (ages 7 and up) / hydrogen and innovation (ages 12 and up) / wind (ages 15 and up).

Three days of events and exhibitions, with a special tribute to the pioneers of aviation.
– You’ll find large-scale models of airplanes by Blériot, Santos-Dumont, the Wright brothers and, of course, Pézenas-born genius Louis Paulhan.
– Thursday and Friday from 4pm to 7pm: take part in a workshop for all ages (from 7 upwards) on flying techniques and all the uses of air and wind, and play our big air quiz, with lots of prizes to be won!
– Saturday at 5pm: don’t miss the final lecture-projection by Frédéric Feu (CIST) on the pioneers of human flight, and the presentation of creations from the participatory workshops.

Sign up for the final workshop, dedicated entirely to air in living things (animals, plants…).
At 4 p.m., witness the final rendition of the 2023 workshop creations: an intense and spectacular moment!
A special tribute is paid to the work of Italo and Françoise Bettiol, creators of the cult children’s series Chapi-Chapo and Pépin la Bulle (with authentic figurines from the 1970s and films, as part of the European Heritage Days).

3, 2, 1: blow! Breeze in to The Genial Air 2023 with CIST (the centre for scientific and technical imagination). Creative workshops where everyone discovers air as seen through the prism of art and science. The programme includes slots for discussion between the audience, artistes and European scientists, created works, shows and prototypes.
